I liken myself to a freshly baked croissant: Warm, crusty, wrinkled, a tad flaky, and best served with hot coffee. My dream of writing took shape seven years ago when my husband pushed me into the smallest bedroom where my computer sat and said, "Don't come out until you write something." Bossy man.

Calvin and I met on match dot com. Can you dig it? Two old fogies looking for love online. We were lucky. We found it. He's a retired English teacher and a published author. I majored in English and was working as a technical writer, dreaming of writing romance. When we got married a year later, Calvin told me I could retire early. Hey, I'm no dummy.

My three grown children live in Indiana, Pennsylvania and Maryland. Calvin's son lives in Berlin, Germany. We have six grandchildren whom I adore...and one great grandson with another due in November.

Paris is my favorite city to travel. Chocolate and coffee are my staple foods. I've been reading romance since '66--and, yes, they had books back then.

I write spicy to erotic. Contemporary to bear shifters to romantic suspense. But, make no mistake about it, I do love a well-written romance.
